Para los que no estéis muy familiarizados con la obra del artista Sebastien Waknine, este vídeo servirá de estupenda introducción. El artista Barcelonés ha participado en el proyecto Murs Plàstics, llevando su arte a las calles de Manresa (Barcelona). Concretamente en una pared medianera que ahora se ha convertido en algo más.

Els dies 6/7/8 de setembre en SEBASTIEN WAKNINE va pintar la paret del Carrer del Cós de Manresa. L’artista va plasmar una figura humana d’impacte, decorada amb motius tribals gravats a pell que conviden a una segona mirada reflexiva.
“En esta obra, la presencia de la figura indígena, gigante, torcida y caída, intenta recordar a la comunidad que todavía hay nativos luchando cada día por su vidas y libertades. No hay que olvidar nuestras propias raíces.” S. Waknine

Ús Barcelona será el encuentro de arte urbano de Barcelona. Ús Barcelona tendrá lugar el 1 de Febrero de 2014 en los antiguos Encants Vells de Barcelona. Ús Barcelona rescatará y dará uso social a espacios urbanos en desuso. Ús Barcelona será un punto de encuentro de los mejores artistas urbanos actuales tanto locales como internacionales. Participarán alrededor de 50 artistas. Se recuperará un espacio en desuso que cobrará nueva vida. Será una demostración de ideas creativas, nuevas propuestas y arte emergente. Será una muestra participativa e interactiva, abierta a la ciudadanía. Contribuirán entidades del barrio, galerías artísticas y colectivos artísticos.
Ús Barcelona will be the meeting of urban art of Barcelona. Ús Barcelona will take place on February 1, 2014 in the old Encants Vells Barcelona. Ús Barcelona will rescue and social use disused urban spaces. Ús Barcelona will be a meeting of the best local and international urban artists today. About 50 artists will participate. RebobinArt ha col·laborat en aquest gran esdeveniment, no ens volíem quedar fora!
Motorola ha estat l’agent que ha sol·licitat la nostra col·laboració. La marca ha volgut fer una acció publicitària on els valors de marca abracessin l’art urbà. L’acció es va realitzar a Plaça Catalunya, les Rambles, i la Barceloneta. Els nostres artistes, en aquest cas tots del sector de la il·lustració, ens van regalar el seu art deixant-ho plasmat a l’espai públic.
Com abans dèiem, hem intervingut en què la ciutat llueixi diferent, ja que la nostra acció ha estat als “pirulis” de la ciutat, aquests han estat el canal de comunicació entre la marca i la ciutat.
La marca aconsegueix publicitat amb un llenguatge urbà, fàcil i llaminer, una publicitat més estable, accessible a tota la multitud que omple la ciutat aquest cap de setmana, essent una interacció amb l’artista, un ciutadà més de Barcelona, que coneix i decora de manera orgullosa els seus carrers.
I no volem dir adéu sense abans assenyalar als artistes que han participat en aquest esdeveniment: Amaia Arrazola, Enric Font, Roc Black Block,Sergio Mora, Ivan Romero Gilabert, Reskate Studio i Sabastien Waknine.

RebobinArt has collaborated in this great event, we wanted to be outside!
Motorola has been the agent requested our collaboration. The brand wanted to make an advertising campaign where the brand values embraced urban art. The action took place in Plaza Catalonia, Las Ramblas and Barceloneta. Our artists, in this case every sector of illustration, they gave us their art embodied leaving it in public.
As we said before, we have intervened when the city looks different, because our action was the "Lollipop" of the city, these have been the channel of communication between the brand and the city.
The brand advertising has a language center, easy and sweet, publicity more stable, accessible to the entire crowd that fills the city this weekend, being an interaction with the artist, a citizen of Barcelona, who knows and decorating so proud of its streets.
I do not want to say goodbye without first noting the artists who participated in this event: Amaia Arrazola, Enric Font Roc Black Block, Sergio Mora, Ivan Romero Gilabert Reskate Studio Sebastién Waknine.

Since opening its doors in 2003, Base Elements has functioned as a multi-faceted gallery- acting as both a workshop and studio- where space and forum collide.
There is no doubt that Barcelona is one of the world’s hubs for Graffiti and Street Art. The walls and buildings of the city have become a canvas for both unknown taggers and globally known urban artists. With the concept of providing a literal and figurative canvas for such independent artists, Robert Burt (California native) and his wife Monica Riu (Barcelona Native) founded Base Elements Urban Art Gallery in 2003 with hopes of creating a space where such street artists could not only showcase their talents, but also be embraced as true artists.
Current exhibiting artists include: Sebaatien Waknine, Btoy, Pez, Kenor, Oriol, Zosen, Tom 14, Pezkhamino, Juan Pajares, Monix, Kram, Robert Burt, etc.
Bienvenidos a la Barcelona más bohemia y viva.

Una docena de artistas están dando los últimos brochazos del gran dragón que ya adorna el nuevo pavimento de la plaza de las Glòries, frente al Disseny Hub de Barcelona. La bestia mitológica mide 150 metros de largo, y ocupa una extensión de unos 1.800 m2. Se trata de una iniciativa del Ayuntamiento destinada darle un poco de vida al nuevo espacio, a darle un poco de gracia.
Y es que el dragón en cuestión está formado por laberintos, tableros de parchís, sopas de letras, circuitos de carreras y un montón de ocurrencias infantiles. Su diseño es fruto de la imaginación de unos 400 críos de ocho escuelas de los distritos de Sant Martí y Eixample. Luego, después de que un arquitecto diseñara el plano final de la obra, durante las dos últimas semanas, la plataforma de artistas Rebobinart lo plasmó sobre el asfalto.

Murs Lliures: liberar los muros para fomentar el graffiti en Barcelona

Uno de los proyectos más interesantes sobre este tema es Murs Lliures, que trabaja con el Ayuntamiento para “liberar” muros, en los que los artistas pueden expresarse libremente, sin prisas y sin miedo a que aparezca un coche patrulla.
